MAC is a leader in aerospace standard fasteners including AN, MS and NAS standards with over 8,000 part numbers including hex heads, pan heads, flat heads, 12 points and internal wrenching screws and bolts.

MAC is certified to ISO9001:2015 and AS9100 Revision D. Our environmentally controlled on-site laboratory is fully equipped to perform destructive, non-destructive, physical, and dimensional tests and analysis. Statistical Process Control (SPC) is utilized, and data is available along with complete certifications and test reports.

Located in Ottawa, Kansas, MAC Fasteners specializes in cold heading and hot heading on a combination of single-die and multi-station progressive heading machines. We currently manufacture over 8,000 different part numbers in sizes ranging from .093″ to .750″ diameter and up to 6″ length for cold heading and up to 1” diameter and 7” length for hot heading. Mac operates out of 3 buildings totaling 60,000 square feet.

Mac Fasteners manufactures over 120 million bolts and screws per year and has the following in-house manufacturing:

  • Cold heading and hot heading, as well as trim capabilities for .093″ to .625″ diameter and up to 5″ length.
  • In-house tool-room capabilities to support heading and other operations.
  • Capability in A286, 431, 302 and multiple alloy steel materials.
  • Fillet roll and thread roll capability in all sizes listed above.
  • Secondary equipment, including CNC, shave, point, and drill.
  • Blanking program to support customer short delivery requirements.
  • Mac Fasteners is licensed by Phillips Screw Company for all their recess types.
